Trimethoprim (TMP) is an antibiotic used mainly in the treatment of bladder infections. Other uses include for middle ear infections and travelers' diarrhea. With sulfamethoxazole or dapsone it may be used for Pneumocystis pneumonia in people with HIV/AIDS. It is taken by mouth.

Side Effects: My 2 year old is having a terrible rash all over her body and high fever for over 24 hours now and feels terrible from this medicine. Just started at 10 days.

Side Effects: severe leg cramps rash all over my face headaches weakness raised my red blood cell count made me very ill! DO NOT EVER TAKE THIS MEDICINE FOR ANY REASON!
