Gabapentin, marketed under the brand name Neurontin among others, is a medication used to treat epilepsy, neuropathic pain, and hot flashes. It is also used for restless leg syndrome. It is recommended as a first line agent for the treatment of neuropathic pain arising from diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia, and central neuropathic pain.

I suffer from severe and debilitating anxiety. After day 3, my anxiety has gone down to a 2-3 out of a 10. I am hopeful and thankful that my doctor recommended this to me.

Chronic back pain. 79 year old female. after one 300 mg tablet confusion, weakness within 3 hours and continuing about 6 hours the following day. Discontinued gralise.
