Hydrocodone/paracetamol, also known as hydrocodone/acetaminophen or hydrocodone/APAP and marketed under the trade name Vicodin among others, is a combination opioid pain medication consisting of hydrocodone and paracetamol (acetaminophen). It is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. It exists in tablet, elixir and solution in various strengths for oral administration.

Side Effects: Worked great the florist 2weeks after surgery, but now I can't sleep! I'm up most of the night. Helps with the pain. I think I'm taking them too close to bed time?

Side Effects: Nausea (got better once laying down) and extreme drowsiness. It has alcohol in it so it BURNED when it hit the raw tissue at the back if my throat but I decided to dilute it with water ...

i would not recommend this drug due to the dependency I would never have taken it if this had been explained to me when I was put on it. As far as pain control it has done its job for the most part ...
