I’ve noticed fine motor skills like typing, and hand writing, were more difficult. I would be typing and it is as if my fingers are two words behind everything else – like a really slow computer. Otherwise I felt very disassociated during the first week, and the first week after increasing dosages (tapered from 100mg 3 x a day to 300mg 3 x day over three months). It was useful for endometriosis related pain. The effects on pain were enough to make me really persist. Side effects are worst 12 – 72 hours after starting / increasing dosage. After three weeks on 300 x 3 times a day the lingering tiredness had passed and I had started to feel more like my normal self again.

Lol I took 600mg last night for severe RLS.Just finished traumatic withdrawal from requip and not slept more than 3 hours a night for 2 months. Gabapentin prescribed to help RLS. Slept from 4am to 10.45 without waking. Utterly miraculous. BUT woke stumbling like drunk and with double vision. Took 2 hrs to fade. Might reduce dose tonight.
