14 falls in one year; one resulted in a mild concussion after "face plant" on sidewalk; first year of taking atenolol would wander in public places losing awareness of time for up to 6 hours; no drug or alcohol involved; unable to regain balance after stumbling; feeling of suddenly tipping when standing still--this persists after 4 years; extreme sluggishness and torpor; difficulty walking at normal speed without tripping; no other etiology found; cognitive sluggishness first year on atenolol; could not do normal math, addition, subtraction; could not read, write, or edi
