Not sure if the muscle spasms are caused by Minoxidil, but I am using Minoxidil now daily for the last 6 years. Since 6 month I experience muscle twitching/spasms all over my body, but the majority is in my legs. Neurologist could not find anything.

I dye my hair every two weeks as well. Minoxidil has helped with my hair growth and has prevented hair loss in my case. Now I'm not sure which one to blame for my back pain,hurniated disks and tears in my knee meniscus. Or may not have anything to do with it. I just feel that these chemicals somewhat get absorbed and get to the liver and blood stream and cause some problems. Any thoughts or similar experiences? I have been using 5% for 20 plus years.
