“aking 1250 mg daily for bipolar disorder. Have now increased Seroquel to 100 mg at bedtime to help with sleep. It helps somewhat, but I am also trying L-Carnitine natural supplement to de-toxify the Divalproex. May add the Acetyl-L-Carnitine form as it passes the blood-brain barrier and may be better. May also try acupuncture. Have been using chamomile tea daily, too. Should I be switching to another mood stabilizer? I know that usual medical treatment for myoclonus is to add a benzodiazepine drug, but I refuse this as they are addictive and have their own problematic since effects.”
