within about 30 to 45 minutes my eyes bulged out my lips were blue and I had trouble breathing the doctor called it antiphylactic shock ( unsure of spelling)

I too was just switched from Cartia xt to diltiazem, and have felt sickish' ever since starting it last Tuesday.....I'm even having chest pain/shortness of breath, feel almost like I have the flu each...
