I would suggest taking Naproxen rather than Ibuprofen for this. 500 mg of Naproxen works. I have tried both and Naproxen is superior. Ibuprofen does nothing for me.

I use this as the only medicine for my sinus and colds, its the only one that works for me. But now the dosage has changed, used to be 1 every 12 hrs and it worked great. The new dosage 1 every 4 hrs ...

... I keep it within the recommended dosage of no more than 1200/day and I typically do that much for the first 3-5 days after an attack occurs. I use the rapid release kind or it doesn't work at all....
